First guiding day at Soča river this year

The long-awaited guiding season has just begun. It couldn’t have started better than on the Soča River. Tinka and Felix from England came to fish in the beautiful valley and they wanted to catch a marble trout. We started early at half past six in the morning on the Soča River, which is managed by the Slovenian Fisheries Institute. The start was difficult because they were getting used to the type of water. After an hour, boom. The first marble trout in the net. Later, Felix landed his record rainbow trout.

After a meal on the river, we continued fishing on the Lepena River, where we were left empty-handed. The fishing lasted 10 hours and if I hadn’t had any commitments in the afternoon, we could have continued.
